Fine Jewellery Designer (Project-Based) Mila is looking for a fine jewellery designer for a project that calls for sensitivity, symbolism, and quiet elegance. About Mila Mila is a fine jewellery house rooted in the rituals and inner worlds of women. Each piece is made in small, limited batches—designed to feel like a soft inheritance, worn for meaning, not just beauty. Our work draws from heritage, art, and the personal mythologies that shape us. The Role This is a project-based role for a designer with experience in fine jewellery only. You will be collaborating closely with our founder to bring a small, concept-driven capsule to life. While the project itself is confidential, it requires a deep understanding of materiality, storytelling, and elegance in restraint. We're looking for someone who: – Has proven experience in designing fine jewellery (CAD and/or hand sketches) – Has a strong grasp of fine jewellery techniques, precious metals, and stone setting – Designs with intention and meaning—beyond ornamentation – Understands how to create designs that are both beautiful and realistically manufacturable in a small-batch fine jewellery context – Is comfortable with remote collaboration and feedback cycles – Bonus: Experience with symbolic or culturally informed jewellery is a plus Responsibilities include: – Designing a limited capsule (4–8 fine jewellery pieces) – Providing detailed design outputs for production (3D rendering/sketches/material notes) – Collaborating with our creative team for iterations and refinements – Considering both creative integrity and practical execution in design To Apply Email with: – A short note about your design philosophy and experience in fine jewellery – A portfolio or selected works (fine jewellery only) – Your location and current availability
