Salesforce Commerce Cloud Architect8+ YEARSKey Responsibilities:Interact with clients to translate business requirements into system specifications.Document application requirements and ensure alignment with business needs.Provide point-of-view (POV) on technical and process solutions to stakeholders.Develop clean, maintainable code and document program logic and processes.Lead and mentor technical teams, enforce coding standards, and ensure best practices.Prepare effort estimates for complex projects to support planning and delivery timelines.Deliver high-quality work, including code reviews, technical documentation, and deployments.Provide production support and troubleshoot existing systems.Design and develop third-party integrations (Shipping, Tax, Payment, CRM, OMS, PIM).Participate in cross-functional teams to enhance web application platforms.Contribute to continuous process improvement and problem-solving initiatives.Manage code branching, tagging, and deployment pipelines.Required Experience & Skills:Bachelor’s degree in IT or related field, or equivalent experience.5–10 years of hands-on experience in Demandware/SFCC (Salesforce Commerce Cloud).Certified SFCC B2C Developer and Architect.Experience in multi-site/multi-country end-to-end implementations.Strong skills in UX Studio, Java/JavaScript, and object-oriented programming.Experience in at least 1 full Demandware implementation as a lead and 2+ as a team member.Proficient with XML data import/export, relational databases, and backend integrations.Familiarity with tagging, testing tools, and DevOps practices is a plus.Excellent communication, time management, and problem-solving abilities.Flexible, proactive, team-oriented, and capable of working in a fast-paced environment.
