Conduct in-depth needs assessments with potential clients to understand their specific temperature control requirements, transit times, regulatory compliance needs (e.g., GDP for Pharma, phytosanitary for perishables), and customs procedures across different countries. * Customized Cold Chain Design: Develop and present tailored, comprehensive international cold chain solutions, encompassing everything from specialized packaging and temperature monitoring to optimized routing, customs brokerage, and warehousing strategies in diverse global locations. * International Relationship Building: Cultivate and nurture strong, long-term relationships with senior decision-makers, supply chain managers, and logistics heads within multinational corporations. * Complex Negotiation & Contract Management: Lead negotiations for complex international reefer freight contracts, ensuring profitability while meeting client service level agreements (SLAs) and international compliance standards. * Market Intelligence & Trend Analysis: Continuously monitor global cold chain market trends, emerging technologies, competitor activities, and changes in international trade regulations that impact temperature-controlled cargo. * Cross-Functional Collaboration: Collaborate seamlessly with our global operations, pricing, compliance, and customs teams to ensure the flawless execution of international cold chain shipments and exceptional client satisfaction. * Global Account Management: For key acquired accounts, serve as the primary point of contact, ensuring ongoing client satisfaction, identifying opportunities for service expansion, and managing client expectations across different time zones and cultures. * Sales Reporting & Forecasting: Maintain an accurate and robust international sales pipeline in the CRM system, provide regular performance reports, and contribute to global sales forecasting. * International Travel: Willingness and ability to travel internationally to meet with prospective clients, attend industry events, and collaborate with global teams as required.
