In Norconsulting we are currently looking for an Power BI developer to join us in India in a freelancer opportunity for a major Banking organization.Duration: long termLocation: Chennai, remoteRate: 145 USD/day (around 3000 USD per month)Type of assignment: Full-time (8h/day, Monday to Friday)As a Power BI Developer, the following skills are mandatory and not restricted to:• Power BI Reports/Dashboards: Design and develop fully functional and visually appealing Power BI dashboards that meet business requirements.• Data Models: Understand, design, develop/modify comprehensive data models that ensure proper relationships, calculated columns, and measures.• DAX Queries: Create efficient DAX measures and calculations to meet specific business needs.• ETL Processes (Power Query): Enable data extraction, transformation, and loading (ETL) processes optimized for performance.• Security Configuration: Implement Power BI role-based security settings, RLS and managing user access levels.• Performance Optimization: Optimize reports and queries to ensure fast and efficient rendering of data.• User Documentation & Training Materials: Create and manage clear and concise documentation for end-users and stakeholders on how to navigate and use the reports and dashboards effectively.SKILLS / EXPERIENCE REQUIRED•Overall 12+ years of IT industry experience•8+ years of experience in BI, Data and Reporting projects using Power BI•Expertise in data analytics skills using relevant BI/Data tools and platforms•Building BI/reporting analytics solutions on cloud technology stack preferable Azure•Data Modeling hands on experience•Experience in writing SQLs for data analysis•Experience in Agile Methodology and Implementation•Working level experience in Relational Databases like Oracle, SQL, Postgres.etc and cloud sources both structured and unstructured•Sound logical and reasoning skills•Effective communications skillsWBGJP00012366
