Job Description

Our client, a Leading Real Estate group is seeking for an experienced and strategic General Manager – Finance to lead the financial planning, management, and fund-raising efforts for our dynamic Real Estate group. The ideal candidate will have a strong track record in raising funds through various channels including banks, NBFCs, private equity, and structured finance, with a deep understanding of the real estate financing ecosystem in India. This role is critical for ensuring the financial health and growth capital needs of the company are effectively managed.The position would be based at Lucknow.Key Responsibilities:Fund Raising & Capital Structuring:- Identify, evaluate, and secure funding from banks, NBFCs, private equity firms, and capital markets. - Structure and negotiate debt and equity deals tailored to specific project and company needs. - Build and maintain strong relationships with financial institutions, investors, and rating agencies. - Develop financial models and business plans to support fund raising initiatives. - Manage the due diligence process and coordinate with legal, compliance, and external consultants.Financial Planning & Analysis:- Lead budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning processes. - Monitor cash flows, working capital requirements, and project profitability. - Prepare detailed financial reports and present to management and board.Strategic Financial Management:- Advise senior leadership on strategic financial decisions including investment opportunities and risk mitigation. - Drive cost optimization initiatives across projects and corporate functions. - Ensure alignment of financial strategies with long-term business objectives.Compliance & Risk Management:- Ensure timely compliance with all statutory and regulatory requirements (RERA, GST, Income Tax, etc.). - Oversee audit processes and internal control systems. - Monitor and manage financial risks including interest rate and liquidity risk.Key Requirements:- Education: CA - Experience: Minimum 12–18 years of relevant experience, with at least 5–7 years in a senior finance role within the real estate or infrastructure sector.Proven Experience in:- Raising funds (debt and equity) for real estate projects. - Working with banks, NBFCs, private equity investors, and financial institutions. - Project finance, structured finance, and real estate financial modeling. - Strong negotiation, presentation, and communication skills. - Excellent understanding of real estate business cycles, regulations, and financial instruments.
