Senior SAP Basis ConsultantExperience: 7+ relevant ExperienceLocation: Abu DhabiKey Responsibilities:- Install, configure, and maintain SAP systems (e.g., ECC, S/4HANA, BW, PI/PO, Solution Manager). - Perform system copies, migrations, patches, upgrades, and kernel updates. - Monitor SAP system performance and take appropriate actions to optimize performance. - Manage SAP transports and coordinate changes between environments. - Ensure system backups and disaster recovery processes are in place and regularly tested. - Apply SAP Notes and implement OSS solutions. - Troubleshoot and resolve SAP Basis-related issues, including system failures, job errors, and connectivity problems. - Collaborate with application and infrastructure teams to resolve issues and improve overall system stability. - Maintain system documentation and standard operating procedures. - Support audit and compliance efforts, ensuring systems follow company and SAP security guidelines.Experience:- 7+ years of experience in SAP Basis administration. - Hands-on experience with SAP S/4HANA and/or ECC. - Experience with SAP system migrations and upgrades. - Familiarity with SAP HANA database and/or Oracle/SQL Server databases. - Experience in managing SAP in cloud environments (e.g., AWS, Azure).Skills:- Strong understanding of SAP architecture and Basis components. - Proficiency in Unix/Linux and Windows operating systems. - Solid knowledge of database administration and troubleshooting. - Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. - Good communication skills and the ability to work both independently and in a team.
