Job Title: Depot Manager – Finished Goods (Pharmaceutical Distribution)Location: Jaipur, RajasthanIndustry: PharmaceuticalsReporting To: Zonal Logistics / Distribution HeadAbout the Role:We are seeking a competent and experienced Depot Manager to lead the Finished Goods Warehouse and Distribution operations at our Jaipur pharmaceutical depot. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in pharma warehousing, inventory management, and regulatory compliance, with demonstrated expertise in managing dispatches and logistics as per GMP/GDP standards.Key Responsibilities:Finished Goods Warehouse Operations- Oversee end-to-end operations of the Finished Goods depot, including receipt, storage, and dispatch of pharmaceutical products. - Implement and maintain FIFO/FEFO practices to ensure inventory integrity. - Manage batch tracking, expiry control, returns, and damage handling. - Ensure stock accuracy through regular cycle counts and physical verification.Regulatory Compliance- Ensure operations comply with the Drugs and Cosmetics Act, GMP, and GDP requirements. - Maintain up-to-date statutory licenses and ensure accurate documentation (e.g., Forms 20B, 21B). - Monitor complete and accurate documentation including invoices, GRNs, challans, and temperature logs.Logistics & Distribution- Coordinate with transport partners to ensure on-time dispatch of finished goods to stockists, hospitals, and institutional customers. - Oversee reverse logistics and ensure resolution of issues related to returns and transit discrepancies. - Optimize route planning and delivery schedules for cost and service efficiency.Team Leadership- Lead a team of warehouse staff, loaders, and contract labor. - Train and guide the team on SOPs, safety protocols, and compliance standards. - Facilitate smooth coordination with internal sales teams, CFA partners, and regional offices.Systems & Reporting- Operate and maintain data on ERP platforms such as SAP, Oracle, or Tally. - Generate accurate and timely MIS reports on inventory, dispatches, and depot performance.Ideal Candidate Profile:- Education: Graduate in Commerce or Science. D. Pharm/B. Pharm preferred. - Experience: 8–15 years of experience in finished goods warehouse or depot operations in the pharmaceutical industry. - Skills: Proficiency in inventory systems, compliance protocols, team management, and logistics coordination. - Soft Skills: Strong leadership, attention to detail, documentation discipline, and cross-functional coordination abilities.
