This role is critical in driving category growth, enhancing market presence, and improving customer engagement through innovative marketing strategies and effective category management.Key Responsibilities:Develop and implement comprehensive growth strategies for assigned categories todrive market share, revenue, and profitability.Plan, execute, and evaluate marketing campaigns across various channels, includingdigital, social media, and offline platforms, to promote category products and drive sales.Conduct thorough market research and analysis to identify trends, customer needs, andcompetitive dynamics. Use insights to inform category strategies and marketinginitiatives.Collaborate with brands to plan the product life cycle sales, from launch to end of lifephase, ensuring co-marketing strategies that drive demand across each phaseMonitor and analyze the performance of categories and marketing campaigns, using keymetrics to assess effectiveness and make data-driven decisions.Work closely with cross-functional teams, including sales, marketing, supply chain, andfinance, to ensure alignment and successful execution of category strategies.Manage budgets for category marketing activities, ensuring efficient allocation ofresources and maximization of ROI.Gather and analyze customer feedback to continuously improve category offerings andmarketing approaches.Qualifications:Bachelor’s Degree from top tier colleges, MBA is a plus.Proven experience in category management, marketing, consulting or a related field,preferably within the retail or consumer goods industry.Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret complex data andmake informed decisions.In-depth knowledge of marketing principles, digital marketing strategies, and marketresearch techniques.Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to present andinfluence at all organizational levels.Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple projectssimultaneously and meet deadlines.Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment and collaboratewith various stakeholders.
