We value research and a customer-centric approach to drive advancements in payment infrastructures.Role DescriptionThis is a full-time on-site role for a Lead Software Developer – Payment Switch and Payment App at our location in Jaipur. The role involves developing and maintaining payment switch and payment app solutions, implementing software development best practices, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to drive technical innovation in the fintech industry.Key Responsibilities:Lead the end-to-end architecture, design, and development of SInghtek’s UPI mobile app and backend UPI switch integration.Work closely with NPCI, banking partners, and internal teams for TPAP onboarding, API integration, compliance, and certification.Own and manage technical roadmaps, sprints, and delivery timelines with a hands-on approach.Ensure high-performance, scalable, and secure design principles across all digital platforms.Guide and mentor a team of developers, testers, and DevOps professionals.Stay updated with the latest NPCI mandates, SDK updates, and security protocols for UPI and digital payments.Required Skills & Qualifications:Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.6+ years of software development experience, with at least 2 years in UPI / digital payments projects.Strong knowledge of UPI protocols, TPAP architecture, SDKs, and NPCI compliance.Proficiency in mobile app development (Android, iOS – Kotlin/Swift/React Native).Backend development experience (Java, Node.js, or similar) and integration with bank APIs.Prior experience with UPI Switch integration and certification processes.Understanding of payment security standards (PCI DSS, encryption, key management).Excellent communication and stakeholder coordination skills.Preferred Experience:Experience in Payment Processing Software Development, including switching, routing, settlement workflows, and dispute management.Expertise in Merchant Management Systems, digital onboarding solutions (eKYC, CKYC, Aadhaar-based onboarding), and transaction reconciliation engines.Past development work on mobile banking apps or financial apps designed for rural and semi-urban populations.Familiarity with offline-first app design, low-bandwidth optimization, and rural merchant workflows.Prior experience with leading Indian digital payment firms such as RS Software, FSS, FIS, or other companies engaged in NPCI product stack integration (UPI, AEPS, BBPS, etc.).What We Offer:Opportunity to build a full-stack UPI TPAP platform from the ground up with national impact.A chance to co-create a core digital infrastructure business unit with long-term leadership potential.Fast-paced, purpose-driven culture focused on solving for Bharat.Competitive salary + performance-linked incentives.Remote-friendly, collaborative, and innovation-driven environment.QualificationsComputer Science and Software Development skillsBack-End Web Development expertiseStrong knowledge of Programming and Object-Oriented Programming (OOP)Experience in designing and implementing payment switch systemsProven track record of leading software development projectsExcellent problem-solving and analytical skillsBachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or related field
