Job descriptionProduct Managers play a pivotal role in leveraging technology to provide an exceptional customer experience. With an analytical and problem-solving mindset, they dive deep into the function/problem space, work with stakeholders to develop a comprehensive perspective, adopt an outside-in view of the problems, and create a vision, strategy, and roadmap for how software can address immediate needs and wants, setting the stage for future disruptions and innovations. Once envisioned, they inspire and align stakeholders - business, operations, and finance, and work with engineers to transform their vision into reality. ResponsibilitiesDrive the product charter by understanding the business goals, responsible for identifying the user needs, defining product constructs, user journeys and translate them into detailed product flows. Ability to understand detailed application architecture and collaborate with Tech team in delivering world class user experiences. Detailed Understanding of SDLC and ability to work in Agile development environment. Strong ability to communicate the product vision and detailed requirements to the Development and QA team. Help interpret and define a product vision and strategy Work with product leadership to define a product strategy and roadmap Collaborate with business teams and other cross-functional teams effectively in driving the projects and be the point of contact Define and own the Product KPI Gather insights from users to drive product improvements QualificationsBachelor’s degree in engineering An MBA or Product certification from a reputed institute would be a plus Experience & Knowledge Excellent communication, problem-solving, organizational and analytical skills, with the ability to evolve product strategy based on research, data and industry trend Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment Ready to roll up sleeves to spend time designing UI, problem solving, and analyzing data Marine engineering background is a plus
