We work closely with corporates, NGOs, communities, and the government to deliver sustainable and inclusive development outcomes.Role SummaryUnited Way Bengaluru is seeking a committed and skilled Civil Engineer to support infrastructure development projects across the education, health, and environmental sectors. The role involves on-site supervision, quality control, coordination with various stakeholders, and reporting to ensure high-quality and timely project implementation.Key ResponsibilitiesSupervise and monitor day-to-day construction activities at assigned project sites.Ensure implementation as per approved drawings, technical specifications, and safety standards.Coordinate with contractors, vendors, consultants, and internal teams for smooth execution.Maintain site documentation and submit daily, weekly, and monthly progress reports.Assist in quantity estimation, preparation and verification of BOQs, and contractor bill checks.Plan and manage site resources including materials, manpower, and equipment.Conduct regular inspections and resolve on-site issues proactively.Liaise with local authorities, communities, and relevant stakeholders, ensuring effective on-ground coordination.Qualifications & ExperienceDiploma / B.E. / B.Tech in Civil Engineering.2–5 years of relevant experience in site execution, preferably in rural, Lakes, Building constructions, or public infrastructure projects.Hands-on experience in construction of buildings, schools, health centers, and/or water bodies (e.g., lakes).Proficient in AutoCAD, MS Office, and standard civil engineering measurement tools.Strong knowledge of construction methodologies, project planning, and site safety standards.Willingness to work in rural or semi-urban areas as per project needs.Preferred Skills & CompetenciesPrior experience working with community-based or development sector infrastructure projects.Proficiency in regional languages: Kannada, Tamil, Telugu, Hindi, and English.Strong interpersonal and communication skills for stakeholder coordination.Adaptability and resilience to work in dynamic, field-based environments.RemunerationRemuneration will be commensurate with qualifications, relevant experience, and previous salary history, aligned with sectoral standards. 40,000/- to 50,000/- per month.
