US Accounting Team Lead - RemoteJob Summary:We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented US Accounting Team Lead to oversee and manage a team of accounting professionals serving clients from the USA, UK, Australia, and India. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in US accounting practices, team leadership, and client communication. This role blends operational excellence with strategic oversight to ensure quality, timely, and compliant delivery of outsourced accounting services.About the Company:Our Client is a fast-growing accounting outsourcing provider supporting small to mid-sized businesses and CPA firms across the USA, UK, AUS, and India. With a strong focus on technology, accuracy, and compliance, we empower clients to streamline their accounting operations and focus on growth.Location: RemoteKey Responsibilities:Lead and supervise a team of accountants handling multi-country client portfoliosReview and manage end-to-end accounting processes including general ledger, AP/AR, bank reconciliations, and month-end closingEnsure timely preparation of financial statements – P&L, Balance Sheet, Cash FlowOversee payroll coordination (W-2/1099) and ensure tax compliance for US clientsConduct internal reviews to ensure data accuracy and regulatory complianceCollaborate with cross-functional teams for workflow optimization and technology integrationTrain, mentor, and monitor the performance of junior accountantsServe as a primary point of contact for client communications, queries, and escalationsAssist in process documentation and audit preparationRequired Qualifications & Skills:Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related fieldMinimum 4+ years of experience in US accounting, including 1+ year in a leadership roleProficient in QuickBooks Online, Xero, NetSuite, ExcelStrong understanding of US GAAP and compliance (W-2/1099, IRS guidelines)Excellent verbal and written communication skills in EnglishClient-centric approach with proven stakeholder management experienceTech-savvy with strong analytical and problem-solving skillsAbility to work across time zones and manage multiple clientsWorking Days: Monday to Friday (Night Shift / US Time Zone)Salary: ₹8 – ₹12 LPA (Based on experience and skill set)Contact Details: For more details on this vacancy, contact us at hire@_______________________________HireGenie is a premier Finance Recruitment Consultancy, helping companies and startups find top-tier finance professionals.
