Senior Manager of Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR)for Shanti Bhavan Educational Trust Shanti Bhavan Educational Trust seeks a dynamic and results-oriented Senior Manager – CSR to lead our corporate fundraising and partnership initiatives. Reporting to the Chief Administrative Officer, the Senior Manager – CSR’s responsibilities include developing and executing our CSR fundraising strategy, cultivating relationships with corporations for CSR and fundraising, and managing donors effectively while working alongside a team of mission-driven professionals.You will directly contribute to Shanti Bhavan's mission of empowering children from socially and economically disadvantaged backgrounds. Your efforts in expanding our donor base and fostering long-term relationships will enable the growth of our programs and amplify our impact on the communities we serve. The ideal candidate will be a proactive strategic thinker and skilled communicator, with either a sales background or a strong understanding of India’s CSR system and experience navigating partnerships with corporate donors.Responsibilities Include But Are Not Limited To The Following:Fundraising Strategy & ExecutionDesign and execute a comprehensive fundraising strategy to achieve annual and multi-year revenue targetsIdentify and cultivate new funding opportunities through CSR mandates, corporate philanthropy, and institutional donorsLead the creation of tailored proposals, presentations, and communication materials for a wide range of funders and prospectsCorporate Partnerships & Donor RelationsBuild and nurture long-term partnerships with corporate partners.Organize and facilitate donor engagement activities such as site visits, virtual/in-person events, and reporting sessionsRepresent the organization at CSR forums, networking conferences, and donor roundtablesGrant Management & ReportingOversee the full lifecycle of CSR grants, including due diligence, MoUs, compliance, and renewal negotiationsCollaborate with internal teams (program, finance, communications) to ensure effective implementation and donor stewardshipEnsure high-quality, timely reporting and impact communication aligned with donor expectationsMaintain accurate tracking of donor metrics, funding milestones, and partnership outcomesSuccessful Applicant Qualifications: We seek a proactive, resourceful, and determined professional candidate with a minimum of 5 years of experience in sales, fundraising, or a related field, with a demonstrated track record of success in either sales or CSR management, donor acquisition, and retention. Bachelor’s degree in Business, Development Studies, Communications, or related field8–10 years of experience in either sales or CSR fundraising, corporate partnerships, or donor engagementStrong network within India’s CSR and philanthropic sectorsExperience delivering customizable CSR initiatives and client-centric programsSkilled at developing and delivering persuasive, well-designed presentationsExcellent relationship-building, interpersonal, and client service skillsOutstanding project management and organizational abilitiesAdept at managing multiple high-priority tasks under tight deadlinesExceptional verbal and written communication skillsDetail-oriented, committed to excellence, and highly professionalFlexible schedule to accommodate international calls and time zonesPersistent and self-motivated in follow-up and outreach effortsComfortable working in a fast-paced, cross-functional team environmentProficient in Microsoft Office Suite and Google WorkspaceWillingness to learn platforms like Asana, Hubspot, and others as requiredPosition Details:At Shanti Bhavan, we value our employees and are committed to providing a supportive work environment. In 2017, the four-part Netflix Original Documentary series Daughters of Destiny featured Shanti Bhavan.Shanti Bhavan serves children of the lowest caste. All the children in the program hail from socio-economically depressed areas of India and are mainly from the “untouchable,” or Dalit, communities. The mission of Shanti Bhavan is to empower children from India’s lowest socioeconomic class to break the cycle of generational poverty through education, leadership, and compassion.
