Job Title: SEO Team LeadLocation: RemoteType: Full-timeRole Overview:We are seeking a driven and detail-oriented SEO Team Lead to oversee and manage a growing SEO team. This role is crucial for ensuring the smooth execution of SEO initiatives across all client accounts—driving performance, maintaining quality, and continuously improving processes. The ideal candidate will have strong leadership experience, hands-on SEO expertise (Website & Local SEO), and a sharp focus on operational excellence and client satisfaction.Key Responsibilities:Team Operations & DeliveryOversee daily execution of SEO activities across client accounts.Ensure timely task completion aligned with SOPs.Maintain high-quality standards and error-free SEO deliverables.Team LeadershipManage and mentor a team of SEO specialists.Track team KPIs, productivity, and performance.Conduct regular check-ins, reviews, and skill development sessions.Process ManagementEnsure adherence to documented workflows and SOPs.Identify inefficiencies and implement process improvements.Collaborate with other departments to standardize best practices.SEO Strategy SupportMonitor account performance and identify opportunities or early signs of decline.Coordinate with the strategy team to ensure execution aligns with strategic goals.Proactively suggest SEO tactic changes based on industry trends and algorithm updates.Client CommunicationInteract with clients to explain SEO results, address concerns, or provide support.Represent the SEO execution team in internal and client-facing meetings.Required Skills & Experience:2–4 years of experience in SEO, including at least 1 year in a leadership role.Strong understanding of Website SEO and Local SEO.Proven success in driving SEO growth and resolving ranking/content/technical issues.Ability to manage and delegate tasks across multiple team members.Proficiency with tools like Google Analytics, Google Search Console, Ahrefs, SEMrush, BrightLocal, etc.Strong analytical skills with the ability to translate data into actionable insights.Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.Preferred Qualities:Strong ownership mindset and a solution-driven approach.High attention to detail with strong quality control practices.Comfortable working in a fast-paced, agency-style environment.Passionate about staying updated on SEO trends and algorithm changes.
