The role involves delivering lectures, supervising postgraduate and undergraduate medical students, conducting research, and contributing to the development of medical education and clinical services in accordance with institutional and regulatory standards.Key Responsibilities:Academic & Teaching:Deliver high-quality lectures, tutorials, and practical demonstrations to MBBS and postgraduate students.Develop and revise curriculum content in line with NMC/MCI guidelines.Supervise clinical rotations, ward teaching, and bedside learning for students.Mentor junior faculty members and guide student research, dissertations, and projects.Clinical Responsibilities (for clinical departments only):Provide expert-level patient care and consultation in your area of specialization.Participate in hospital rounds, case discussions, and clinical audits.Supervise interns, residents, and junior doctors during clinical postings.Ensure compliance with ethical standards in patient care and clinical practices.Research & Publications:Initiate, conduct, and supervise research projects relevant to the department.Publish scholarly articles in reputed national and international journals.Encourage a research-oriented environment among students and staff.Contribute to conferences, workshops, and academic symposiums.Administrative & Leadership:Contribute to departmental planning, policy formulation, and accreditation processes.Participate in academic committees, student evaluations, and institutional governance.Support the implementation of quality assurance and academic standards.Facilitate community outreach and continuing medical education (CME) programs.Qualifications:MBBS with MD/MS/DNB in the relevant discipline.Minimum 10 years of teaching experience in a recognized medical college, including at least 5 years as an Associate Professor.Age - 40 to 65Resident/Non ResidentSkills & Competencies:Strong subject matter expertise in the respective medical discipline.Effective classroom and clinical teaching abilities.Proven research acumen with a track record of publications.Leadership, mentoring, and departmental coordination skills.Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.Familiarity with medical education technology and digital tools
