CompanyRease We operate an online marketplace start-up in Australia called, Rease.⸻Role DescriptionThis is a full-time role for a back end developer who is an expert in Laravel PHP and has solid experience in managing infrastructure through AWS. The successful candidate will be responsible for all backend development, system integration, and infrastructure operations.We require someone with experience in developing mobile apps as well as understanding how to integrate with third-party companies through various APIs. The app includes: • Stripe payment system integration • User verification software • Analytics integrations • Booking systems • Messaging functionalityThe successful candidate must be adaptable to new technology, capable of working in a small but efficient team, and fluent in English. Collaboration with Android developers, iOS developers, and Project Managers is a key part of the role.Mandatory Technical Stack: • Backend: Laravel 8 (PHP) • Database: MySQL 8.0 • AWS Services: • EC2 (Instances, Load Balancers, Target Groups) • S3 (File Storage) • RDS (MySQL) • WAF • CloudWatchHighly Desired (but not essential): • CMS Technologies: • VueJS (CMS): ^2.6.8 • Vuetify (CMS): 2.1.2 • NodeJS 18⸻Qualifications • Mobile Application Development experience • Extensive Laravel PHP expertise for Backend Development • Extensive knowledge of core AWS services (EC2, S3, RDS, WAF, CloudWatch) • Experience integrating third-party services via APIs • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills • Ability to read and understand technical documentation • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related fieldSalaryThe estimated salary is between $20,000-$25,000 AUD per annum depending on experience and skill set.
