Boston Institute of Analytics (BIA) is seeking a motivated Academic Counselor to join our Mumbai team. In this role, you will provide academic counseling, admissions support, and career guidance to prospective students, playing a key part in driving enrollments and supporting student retention. Key Responsibilities: Student Counseling: Provide personalized guidance to prospective students on BIA’s academic programs, curriculum, fees, and prerequisites. Admissions Assistance: Support students throughout the admission process, including application submissions, interviews, and document verification. Lead Follow-Up & Conversion: Engage and follow up with potential leads using effective conversion techniques to maximize student enrollments. Presentations & Online Counseling: Conduct engaging presentations and one-on-one/online counseling sessions to showcase the features and benefits of BIA courses. Record Maintenance: Accurately document counseling sessions, follow-up actions, and feedback in line with data management best practices. Career Counseling: Offer career guidance related to job opportunities, certifications, and upskilling in the analytics industry. Collaboration: Work closely with the marketing and admissions teams to achieve enrollment targets and organizational goals. Industry Awareness: Stay updated on trends in education and analytics to provide informed, relevant advice to students. Relationship Building: Build positive relationships with students, parents, and educational partners to foster engagement and retention. Preferred Candidate Profile: Experience: At least 1 year in EdTech sales, academic counseling, or a related field. Communication: Excellent verbal and written English communication skills, with strong presentation abilities. Interpersonal Skills: Customer-centric, charismatic, competitive, and enthusiastic personality. Negotiation Skills: Ability to effectively engage and convert prospective students and their families.
