As the Head of Shopper Experience Product – India, you will be responsible for driving the product strategy, development, and execution for key areas of our digital e-commerce and in-store platform. You will work closely with our US-based leadership, engineering, design, and data teams while leading a local customer experience product team in India. This role requires a balance of strategic vision, execution excellence, and cross-border collaboration to ensure seamless product development and deliver exceptional value to the end customer.You will be responsible for partnership with design, technology, data and other cross-functional teams for collecting and interpreting user research and data, conceiving innovative products, creating a robust product roadmap, and managing the product lifecycle. You will build and lead the product management organization including hiring and mentoring product managers.The Head of Shopper Experience Product will report directly to Senior Vice President on the global leadership team and will work closely with the GCC Site Leader to support the company's objectives and initiatives.Main responsibilities Product Strategy & LeadershipCreate a bold vision for our mobile, site, in-store digital shopping experience that aligns with Albertsons overall vision and goals and inspires delightful experiences.Deliver personalized experiences that drive conversion and customer engagement, while driving efficiency for teams.Define tenets and measurable metrics of success. Establish a culture of testing and learning.Oversee the full product lifecycle, from ideation and research to development, launch, and continuous iteration. Work with our Engineering and UX to establish agile processes, frameworks, and tools to improve velocity, quality, and ensure transparency.Recruit, mentor, and lead a high-performing product team in India.Foster a strong product culture that emphasizes customer-centricity, innovation, and agility.Work closely with US-based partners and stakeholders to define product vision, align priorities, balancing global objectives with local execution. Leading Shopper Experience Team in India and Cross-Border CollaborationAct as the primary Shopper Experience product leader in India and create a customer-obsessed culture and lead CX discussions.Ensure smooth communication across time zones, bridging gaps between India and US teams, and working closely with US-based product and business.Align product development efforts with US business priorities while leveraging India’s technical and operational strengths.We are looking for candidates who possess the following:15+ years of product management experience, with at least 5 years in a leadership role.Experience in e-commerce, grocery, retail tech, or consumer technology preferred.Experience building and launching complex platforms at scale, preferably in mobile apps, personalization, and/or other customer experience areas.Strong analytical mindset with a data-driven approach to decision-making.Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with an ability to influence across teams and time zones.Deep understanding of UX, customer behavior, and conversion optimization.Strong technical acumen and ability to work closely with engineering teams. Experience working in a globally distributed team, particularly with US-based partners preferred.
