Uvik takes care of offline/PoS payments for CCAvenue.Indian-made payments technology company Uvik's SoftPoS enables contactless Android phones to function as payments terminals without the need for extra hardware, and both domestic and international banks are thinking of offering it to small and medium-sized stores as a way to cut expenses.Uvik is also a technology leader in this space certified for PIN entry on Glass as well by the credit card schemes, including Visa, Mastercard, and RuPay after rigorous security testing.Role DescriptionThis is a full-time on-site role for a Back End Developer with devops exposure - at Uvik Technologies located in Bengaluru. The Back End Developer - Java will be responsible for the day-to-day tasks associated with back-end web development and software development. This includes using object-oriented programming (OOP) principles, Design Patterns and working closely with the front-end development team to ensure seamless integration using the Devops concept like CICD pipelines, scripting etc for auto deployment.QualificationsBachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science or an equivalent.With 4+ years of experience with Strong programming skills in Java (Springboot / Hibernate).Proficiency in OOPs, Data Structures and Algorithms.Should have experience in Cloud technologies.Should be able to write Queries in SQL / NoSQL (MongoDB).Should be able to write shell scripts, CI/CD pipelines for server deployments.Exposure to kubernets/docker deployments is  mustExperience working on Unix-based operating systems.Excellent verbal & written communication skills.Excellent problem-solving and analytical abilitiesExposure to production incident & resolution handling would be preferedAttention to detail.Individual contributor and ability to work collaboratively in a team.Experience coding in Front end technologies (React / Angular) would be a plus.
