Role OverviewThe Admissions and Recruitment Officer plays a pivotal dual role in advancing UCD’s enrolment objectives in South Asia by combining proactive student recruitment efforts with efficient admissions processing. This position involves building strong relationships with schools, agents, and partner institutions, while ensuring prospective student applications are reviewed and processed in line with UCD’s global admissions standards. The successful candidate will be a dynamic, detail-oriented professional with strong communication skills and regional market awareness.Key ResponsibilitiesRecruitment & OutreachExecute UCD’s South Asia recruitment calendar, including school visits, virtual webinars, higher education fairs, and in-person student sessions.Build and maintain strong relationships with high school counsellors, universities, agents, and education consultants.Serve as a key point of contact for prospective students, parents, agents, and institutional partners.Deliver engaging presentations at schools and fairs to promote UCD programmes.Organize and conduct regular training sessions for education agents and track their performance.Support UCD staff visits and recruitment missions by coordinating itineraries, logistics, and local engagements.Admissions ManagementEvaluate and process student applications to ensure completeness, accuracy, and eligibility according to UCD’s admission standards.Work closely with the UCD International Admissions Team in Dublin for application reviews, conditional offers, and document verification.Respond to applicant and agent queries and provide guidance on the admissions process, required documentation, and timelines.Data & CRM ManagementMaintain accurate records of leads, applications, and conversions using CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce or equivalent).Track recruitment activities and applicant journeys to support data-driven decision-making.Monitor acceptance and deposit rates; contribute to the development of yield strategies.Marketing & Event SupportCoordinate UCD’s participation in education fairs, roadshows, and promotional events.Support marketing campaigns by localizing content, providing market feedback, and amplifying UCD’s presence through digital channels and social media.Collect and share event feedback, student testimonials, and visual content from in-country engagements.Market Intelligence & ReportingMonitor and analyze student recruitment trends, competitor activity, and regional education developments.Provide timely reports to senior UCD leadership detailing recruitment performance, market feedback, and conversion metrics.Desired profile of the candidate:3–6 years of experience in international student recruitment, admissions, or education consultancy.Proven track record of stakeholder engagement, especially with agents, schools, and higher education institutions.Strong understanding of international admissions procedures, including qualification frameworks and visa processes.Excellent presentation, communication, and interpersonal skills; ability to confidently speak to diverse audiences.High level of administrative accuracy, organization, and attention to detail.Experience working with CRM systems (Salesforce, HubSpot, etc.) and Microsoft Office tools.Ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and deliver under pressure.Flexibility to travel across India and occasionally within South Asia; ability to work extended hours during peak seasons.Knowledge of Ireland’s higher education landscape and UCD’s programmes is an advantage.Qualification: Bachelor’s degree required (Master’s preferred); ideally in Education, Marketing, International Relations, or related fields.
