Position: Senior System EngineerLocation: RemoteNotice period: immediate (Budget: 16 LPA)Must have:Window (2008/2008R2, Windows 2012, Windows 2016, 2019 & 2022) systems administrationAzure Cloud InfrastructurePowerShell scriptingRemediation of vulnerabilities using scripting, patch deploymentExperience with vulnerability scanning and assessment tools like Tenable JD• 8+ years of strong Window (2008/2008R2, Windows 2012, Windows 2016, 2019 & 2022) systems administration.• Proven experience as a System Administrator with a focus on Vulnerability and Security Remediations.• Proven experience on Azure Cloud Infrastructure. • Proven experience on Entra ID and Cloud Posture Management tools.• Proven experience in remediation of vulnerabilities using scripting, patch deployment systems, application deployment/removal tools via Batch Patch, WSUS or Manage Engine.• Strong knowledge in systems vulnerability management and system hardening to mitigate Common Vulnerability and Exposures (CVE).• Hands-on experience and knowledge of WSUS to perform timely patch management as per the schedule.• Strong knowledge of Windows server operating systems, security tools and best practicesAssist and support Infrastructure deployment automation tools like Ansible & Terraform along with PowerShell scripting• Experience with vulnerability scanning and assessment tools like Tenable • Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skillsWhat you’ll do:• Identify, assess, and prioritize security vulnerabilities in Windows server environments. • Develop and implement strategies for remediation and mitigation of vulnerabilities. • Implement security best practices and hardening guidelines to safeguard Windows servers. • Assist and support the continuous improvement of the vulnerability management program initiatives. • Work with Security, Product and Technology teams to mitigate identified risks across enterprise infrastructure. • Work on Third Party / Penetration Testing scan findings and remediate them across all cloud and onpremises infrastructure. • Apply right fixes to mitigate vulnerabilities related to EX; SSL, TLS, Windows defender antimalware and SSL ciphers, Windows LM/ NTLM authentication, etc. • Analyze system performance and suggest/implement tuning as needed, Patch Windows, VMware server environments, both software and firmware, on scheduled basis as well as urgent security release. • Work on Patch management applications/tools. • Assist and support, Cloud Posture Management Tools (Azure Cloud) – Integrating, Mitigating risks and findings. • Assist and support Infrastructure deployment automation tools like Ansible & Terraform along with PowerShell scripting • Abiding by Incident, Change and Problem Management procedures, including complying with the Service Level Agreements.
