IT Technology Recruiter is a professional networker and relationship builder with a strong interest in evolving IT trends. This individual establishes and nurtures relationships with both active and passive job seekers (“candidates”) and collaborates with one or more Business Development Managers to fulfill exciting project-based and direct-hire positions in information technology—ranging from Help Desk Support and Application Development to Network Engineering, and executive roles such as CIOs and CTOs.About the RoleThe IT Technology Recruiter plays a crucial role in connecting candidates with opportunities in the IT sector, ensuring that both client needs and candidate aspirations are met.ResponsibilitiesIdentify, interview, and evaluate candidates for client opportunities.Build and maintain long-term relationships within the IT community by regularly attending local user groups and networking events.Review and comprehend technical job requirements and candidate skill sets.Reformat and present resumes in a way that aligns with client expectations.Develop and execute strategies to qualify candidates using a variety of tools and networks.Negotiate compensation with consultants based on role requirements and market standards.Conduct virtual or in-person meetings to assess candidate qualifications.Partner with the sales team to drive delivery strategies for consultants and candidates.Collaborate with teammates to help fill open positions across various business lines and national practices, as needed.Actively market high-demand skill sets to the sales team.
