Business Development Manager, Wind Farm Services Regional Coverage: Asia Pacific & Middle East To drive strategic growth and revenue generation by developing business opportunities in the wind energy sector, with a focus on onshore and offshore wind farm services. This includes identifying prospects, building relationships with key stakeholders, leading bid and proposal development, and closing contracts for operations & maintenance (O&M), inspection, repair, retrofitting, and engineering services. The role is expected to contribute at the Group level by supporting the structuring of the overall wind farm services strategy, helping to define the business model, prioritize target markets, and align internal capabilities across Asia Pacific & Middle East region to scale the wind energy portfolio effectively. Market Development Identify and evaluate new business opportunities in the wind energy sector across targeted geographies. Conduct market intelligence, regulatory research, and competitor analysis to support entry and expansion strategy. Build partnerships with wind farm developers, OEMs, and EPC contractors. Sales Strategy & Execution Develop and execute strategic account plans and commercial roadmaps to achieve growth targets. Lead prequalification, tendering, and proposal development processes for wind farm service contracts. Ensure alignment of offerings with client requirements, legislation, and industry standards. Relationship Management Establish and maintain strong relationships with clients, regulators, and industry associations. Represent the company at industry conferences, exhibitions, and technical forums. Internal Coordination Collaborate with technical, engineering, and operations teams to tailor service solutions. Provide feedback on market trends and customer needs to support service innovation and product development. Performance & Reporting Track pipeline performance using CRM tools and report progress against KPIs. Forecast bookings and revenue contribution for wind-related services in coordination with finance and planning. Health, Safety, Environment & Quality • Perform all duties in line with health, safety, environmental and quality requirements linked to the post and specified duties pertaining to Group Policies and Procedures together with recognized legislation where applicable. Qualifications • Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Renewable Energy, Business, or a related field; Master’s preferred. • Minimum 8–12 years of experience in business development or sales in the wind energy sector, with a strong focus on wind farm services. • Proven network within the wind industry (developers, OEMs, service providers, authorities). • Strong understanding of wind turbine technology, O&M cycles, and HSE compliance. • Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills. • Experience working across diverse markets and cultural environments is a plus.
