The successful candidate will be responsible for testing BI dashboards, validating data integrity, and ensuring analytical reports meet business requirements.ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIESTesting & Quality AssuranceDesign and execute comprehensive test plans for BI dashboards and analytical reportsPerform functional, regression, and user acceptance testing on dashboard componentsValidate data accuracy, completeness, and consistency across multiple data sourcesTest dashboard performance, load times, and responsiveness across different devices and browsersDocument and track defects using bug tracking systems and collaborate with development teams for resolutionData Analysis & ValidationConduct thorough data validation to ensure accuracy of metrics, KPIs, and calculationsCompare dashboard outputs against source systems and business requirementsAnalyze data trends and patterns to identify potential anomalies or data quality issuesVerify data transformations, aggregations, and filtering logic within dashboardsPerform end-to-end data lineage testing from source to presentation layerEnd-to-End BI Solution VerificationEnsure proper functionality of interactive dashboard features including filters, drill-downs, and parameter controlsValidate data refresh schedules and automated report generation processesTest dashboard security settings and user access permissionsREQUIRED QUALIFICATIONSProficiency in at least one major BI tool (Tableau, Power BI, QlikView, Looker, or similar)Basic Database concepts and SQL skills.Experience with data analysis and statistical conceptsBasic knowledge of ETL processes and data warehousing conceptsFamiliarity with testing frameworks and methodologiesStrong analytical and problem-solving abilitiesExperience with data profiling and data quality assessmentUnderstanding of business metrics, KPIs, and dashboard design principlesAbility to interpret complex data relationships and business logicExcellent attention to detail and accuracyStrong communication skills for collaborating with business stakeholders and technical teamsAbility to create clear test documentation and defect reportsProject management skills and ability to work with multiple priorities
