We are urgently looking for a Welding Engineer/ Inspector for Vapi locationLocation: VapiJob type: PermanentExperience: 5 - 8 years of experience in welding engineering in heavy fabrication, pressure vessels, or boiler manufacturing Roles & Responsibilities:Develop Welding Procedure Specifications (WPS) in accordance with ASME Section IX, IBR, and other relevant codes.Select appropriate welding processes (SMAW, GTAW, SAW, FCAW, etc.) and filler materials for different joint configurations and materials.Troubleshoot welding issues and recommend corrective actions to improve weld quality and productivity.Maintain and update welding documentation including WPS, PQRs, WQT records, weld maps, and traceability logs.Coordinate with third-party inspectors and regulatory bodies for weld approvals and audits.
