You’ll be joining a small, passionate founding team working at the intersection of design, tech, and fabrication.Role OverviewAs our first Wardrobe & Kitchen Designer, you’ll be responsible for converting architect-submitted designs into manufacturable, build-ready drawings. You’ll collaborate with architects, interpret complex DWG/RVT files, and detail every joinery, material, and hardware spec required to bring these projects to life.This is a hands-on production role — equal parts technical design, coordination, and problem-solving.ResponsibilitiesReview submitted design files (DWG, DXF, SKP, RVT, etc.) and translate them into clean, manufacturable production drawings.Flag and resolve design issues or ambiguities with the architect via WhatsApp/chat.Specify materials, finishes, edge bands, hardware (hinges, sliders, lift-ups), etc.Create detailed 2D/3D construction drawings (section views, joinery, part breakdowns).Coordinate with internal manufacturing and carpentry teams to ensure feasibility and accuracy.Maintain version history and change logs for all submitted designs.Assist in the quote generation process by breaking down scope, complexity, and BOM.Occasionally support in initial design consultation calls for clarification.Uphold and evolve our internal drawing standards, templates, and process efficiency.Requirements2–5 years experience in wardrobe or kitchen design with a focus on execution and production.Strong technical CAD skills — especially AutoCAD, SketchUp, or similar.Comfortable reading and interpreting architect-drafted plans and layouts.Strong understanding of modular construction, edge details, carcass systems, and site conditions.Familiarity with hardware brands like Hettich, Blum, Ebco, etc.Comfortable working under tight timelines and handling multiple projects simultaneously.Detail-oriented and quality-obsessed — someone who notices a 1mm misalignment.Bonus If You HaveExperience using BIM workflows (Infurnia, Pytha), or ERP tools for modular manufacturing.Interior execution experience on-site (with vendors or fabricators).Interest in scalable design systems, D2C workflows, or startup culture.Experience designing for small spaces and high-efficiency layouts.What You’ll GetWork with India's leading architects and next-gen design teamsDeep insight into manufacturing and digital supply chainsA front-row seat to shaping an early-stage startup from Day 1Growth path to become Design Head or CAD Ops LeadA work culture that's quality-first, no-nonsense, and fun
