We seek a highly experienced Senior Automation Test Engineer to join our QA team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Selenium with Java and hands-on experience in Playwright with Java/Python/TypeScript/JavaScript. You’ll be responsible for designing scalable test automation frameworks, developing robust test scripts, and ensuring product quality through comprehensive test coverage.There will be a written test before any formal technical interviews.Key Responsibilities:Design, develop, and maintain scalable and reusable automation test frameworks (POM, Hybrid).Implement frameworks integrating multiple libraries and tools to support functional, regression, and API testing.Utilize tools and libraries such as:Jest – test runner and assertion frameworkPlaywright – for browser-based testingAxios – for API requestsAllure – for reporting and visualizationDevelop and execute automation scripts for regression and functional testing.Enhance and maintain test scripts using:DOM locatorsWebDriver methodsJavaScript/TypeScript conceptsTestNG annotationsPerform error handling, analyze test results, and log detailed bug reports.Develop data-driven test cases and integrate them into the automation suite.Define test scenarios and write test cases aligned with user stories and acceptance criteria.Actively participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies, including planning, reviews, and retrospectives.Track and manage defects through their lifecycle and contribute to regression test planning.Must-Have Skills:Strong experience in Selenium with JavaStrong experience in RestAssured with JavaProven ability to build and scale automation frameworks (POM, Hybrid)Solid understanding of TestNG, data-driven testing, and test lifecycleGood-to-Have / Secondary Skills:Hands-on experience with Playwright using TypeScript/JavaScriptWorking knowledge of Jest, Allure, and AxiosExposure to CI/CD tools and version control systems (e.g., Git, Jenkins)Let me know if you'd like to add salary range, location (onsite/hybrid/remote), or company-specific branding.
