Job Summary: We are seeking a qualified Geologist with experience in explosion-related work to support controlled blasting operations, site analysis, and geological assessments. The candidate will play a key role in ensuring safe, effective, and compliant blasting practices. Key Responsibilities: Conduct geological surveys and analyze rock/soil formations at blast sites. Plan, assess, and supervise controlled explosion activities. Collaborate with drilling and blasting teams to optimize blast design. Monitor blast results and ensure adherence to safety and environmental regulations. Prepare geological and blast reports, risk assessments, and technical documentation. Use geological software and GIS tools for data interpretation and mapping. Coordinate with government authorities for necessary permits and compliance. Requirements: Bachelors or Master’s degree in Geology or related field. 2–5 years of relevant experience in explosion or blasting-related geology. Strong knowledge of blasting techniques, rock mechanics, and safety protocols. Familiarity with mining/explosive regulations and environmental standards.
