Backend Software Developer/ EngineerAbout the RoleWe are seeking a skilled Back End Engineer with strong experience in Go (Golang) to join our growing engineering team. This role is 100% remote (U.S.-based only). You’ll play a key role in building scalable backend systems, integrating with internal platforms, and supporting real-time clinical operations across our sites. While Go is the primary language, exposure to Python and familiarity with frontend technologies like React.js is beneficial.This role also requires experience working with container orchestration platforms like Kubernetes to help ensure the reliable and scalable deployment of backend services.ResponsibilitiesDevelop and maintain scalable backend systems primarily using Go (Golang)Design and deploy containerized services in Kubernetes environmentsCollaborate cross-functionally with product, engineering, and clinical teams to gather technical and business requirementsParticipate in Agile processes, including daily standups, retrospectives, and sprint planningWrite and maintain user stories, technical requirements, unit tests, and clean, maintainable codeContribute to the design and delivery of well-tested APIs in multiple languages (primarily Go and optionally Python)Assist in integrating backend services with frontend applications (React.js experience is a plus)Minimum Qualifications4+ years of professional backend development experience - RequiredStrong experience with Go (Golang) and /or Python in production environments requiredExperience deploying and managing services in Kubernetes is requiredProficient in writing and consuming APIsFamiliarity with Python and/or a willingness to learnSolid debugging and problem-solving skillsMust reside in the United States and be eligible to work without sponsorshipMaster's Degree RequiredPreferred QualificationsExposure to modern JavaScript frameworks such as React, Vue, or Angular (React preferred)Experience with DevOps practices and CI/CD tools (e.g., AWS, Jenkins, CircleCI, GitHub Actions)Familiarity with logging/monitoring tools like Stackdriver, ELK stack, or Prometheus/GrafanaExperience deploying and scaling services in Kubernetes (EKS, GKE, or self-managed clusters)Strong sense of ownership, ability to raise technical risks early, and a bias toward delivering high-quality solutions
