We are advertising on behalf of our client in Australia and are seeking dedicated and trustworthy Aged Care Workers / Personal Care Assistants to provide compassionate support and high-quality care to elderly clients in residential and community settings.Description:An Aged Care Worker or Personal Care Assistant (PCA) provides essential support and personal care to elderly individuals, helping them maintain independence and dignity in aged care facilities, community settings, or in their own homes. The role involves both physical assistance and emotional support to ensure a high quality of life for clients.Scope:Personal Care Support:Assist clients with daily personal hygiene, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.Help with mobility and transfers, including use of mobility aids.Support clients with eating and drinking, including preparing meals and feeding when necessary.Health and Medication Support:Monitor client health and report changes to nursing or medical staff.Assist with medication under supervision or per facility guidelines.Support therapeutic and rehabilitation exercises.Household Tasks:Light housekeeping duties such as laundry, cleaning, and dishwashing.Assist with shopping and meal preparation.Emotional and Social Support:Provide companionship and engage clients in social and recreational activities.Offer emotional support and promote mental wellbeing.Documentation and Reporting:Maintain accurate records of care provided.Report any concerns about client wellbeing to supervisors or healthcare professionals.Qualifications:Certificate in Aging, Home and Community or equivalent.Candidates who do not hold formal qualifications but have hands-on experience in aged care are welcome to apply.Sponsorship available to eligible candidates.Work location: Across Australia.Valid passport without Australia visa rejection or travel ban.
