Now SME companies can enjoy a similar benefit through Potentiam without any upfront investment Location : Bangalore ( Hybrid) Responsibilit ies: We are seeking a CA7 Workload Automation Engi neer with expertise in Administrative using industry-standard tools such as AutoSys, Control-M, Automic, or IBM Workload Scheduler ( IWS). The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing, designing, and optimizing automated workflows in a mission-critical environment. Key Responsibilities: Administer and maintain CA7 Workload Autom ation to ensure seamless job scheduling and execution. Design, develop, and optimize batch job workflows using AutoSys, Control-M, Automic, o r IWS. Monitor and troubleshoot job failures, delays, and performance bottlenecks to ensure SLAs are met. Implement workload automation best practices to enhance efficiency and reliability. Collaborate with application teams, infrastructure engineers, and business users to support job scheduling requirements. Perform migration, upgrades, and patching of scheduling tools as needed. Develop and maintain job documentation, including process workflows, schedules, and recovery procedures. Provide 24x7 on-call su pport on a rotational basis for critical batch operations. Required Skills & Qualifications: 7+ years of expe rience in workload automation, job scheduling, or batch processing. Hands-on experience with at least one of the following: AutoSys, Control-M, Automic, or IBM Workload Scheduler (IWS). Strong knowledge of CA7 job sche duling and its integration with enterprise systems. Proficiency in scripting (Shell, Python, PowerShell, or Perl) for automation and troubleshooting. Experience with UNIX/Linux and W indows operating environments. Familiarity with databases (SQL, Oracle, o r DB2) and query optimization. Understanding of incident management, change management, and ITIL pro cesses. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to work under pressure.
