Position: Textile Designer Location: Jaipur, Rajasthan Experience: 4–6 years Salary: As per industry standards & based on experience About the Role: We are looking for a talented, experienced and detail-oriented Textile Designer to join our creative team at Cottons Jaipur. The candidate should be creatively driven, technically sound, and have a strong understanding of both traditional and contemporary print design. Key Responsibilities: - Design original prints and develop coordinated collections across apparel, saris, and home furnishing. - Plan and execute sari prints and layouts with a clear understanding of materials and printing methods. - Create print-ready files using various software tools and manage the end-to-end sampling process. - Work closely with the design team and production team to ensure timely and quality execution. - Stay updated on textile trends and bring fresh, relevant ideas to seasonal collections. Qualifications & Skills: - Degree in Textile Design or a related field with 4–6 years of relevant experience. - Proficient in Illustrator, Photoshop, and CAD; strong grasp of repeat development and color separation. - Knowledge of various textile printing techniques like block, screen, and digital. - Strong aesthetic sense and understanding of fabrics, colors, and market trends. - Excellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively with vendors and internal teams.
