Roles and Responsibilities General Description: The person will be responsible for focusing on the implementation of projects on South Asia Regional Parliamentary Forum (SARPF) - India Chapter, with some activities in South Asia. S/he will report to the Co-Directors of the Forum. The Programme Manager will be responsible for leading activities, completing programmatic and financial reporting for activities committed under project/s on a day-to- day basis. The Programme Manager will support the Co-Directors in managing long-term policy makers’ relationships and coordination; oversee the activities of the events manager and the network co-ordinator in keeping track of quality, timeliness, and cost-effectiveness; support the communications teams through updates of activities and managing website information; prepare knowledge documents and policy briefs in coordination with Co-lead.Specific Description:1. Manage and track all activities under the project in close coordination with Co- Directors 2. Lead the development of knowledge products, policy briefs/ analyses, and blogs on clean energy transition, particularly from the perspective of India; track key technical and policy developments in this sector. 3. Coordinate with the Operations Manager for quality assessment and the timeliness of the delivery 4. Program and Finance Management/Reporting with support from Operations Manager 5. Lead the management of the SARPF-India (South Asia Regional Parliamentary Forum) Secretariat in coordination with Co-Directors for Plan meetings of the India/South Asia steering committee, members, and stakeholders and initiate the groundwork Website content updates Communicating with the India Steering Committee MPs 6. Supporting the organisation and management of India/regional/international events 7. Meet and coordinate with MPs and their office with Co-directors 8. Supporting media activities on RPFQualification:1. At least 4-5 years of experience in multi-year project management for international and national partners, preferablyin the climate change and clean energy sector 2. Master’s degree in related fields 3. Experience in program and financial reporting for international donors 4. Experience in budget-making and accounting 5. Good communication skills in English 6. Experience in working in the social and development sector 7. Good leadership skills, and experience in working independently with regular engagement with team members. 8.
