Expect to own system design decisions, integrate LLM workflows (LangChain + OpenAI), and implement vector-database powered RAG features.Key ResponsibilitiesProduct-Driven Development — Translate product requirements into elegant, scalable features across the stack.Front-End Excellence — Craft responsive, high-performance UIs in Next.js (TypeScript), optimizing for UX and accessibility.Back-End Ownership — Build REST/GraphQL APIs, data models, and business logic in Node.js with Postgres/Supabase.AI & RAG Integration — Implement retrieval-augmented generation pipelines with LangChain and Pinecone; fine-tune prompts and embeddings for performance.System Design & DevOps — Contribute to architecture decisions, performance tuning, and CI/CD workflows.Collaboration & Communication — Work async-first with reasonable EST overlap; participate in code reviews and technical planning.Required Skills & Experience3+ years building production software with modern JavaScript/TypeScript.Proven delivery experience with Next.js and React.Strong back-end expertise in Node.js and relational databases (Postgres/Supabase).Hands-on knowledge of vector DBs (e.g., Pinecone) and LLM tooling (LangChain, OpenAI API).Solid grasp of full-stack system design, performance optimization, and clean code practices.Bonus PointsElectron.js experience for cross-platform desktop applications.Exposure to CI/CD pipelines, testing frameworks, or cloud platforms (Vercel, AWS, GCP).Previous work on AI/ML or data-heavy SaaS products.Why You’ll Love This RoleImpact from Day 1 — Shape foundational architecture for a green-field AI product.Flexible Schedule — Set your own hours with overlap for key EST meetings.Growth Path — Strong chance to move into a full-time, higher-responsibility role as the product scales
