We are expanding our team and seeking a Freight Brokerage Sales Agent with a proven sales background and experience in the freight brokerage industry.Position Overview:We are looking for an experienced Freight Brokerage Sales Agent to join our remote team. The ideal candidate will have 2-5 years of experience in freight brokerage and will be responsible for generating leads, cold calling, building relationships with clients and carriers, managing a sales pipeline, and achieving monthly sales targets. The role requires active participation in lead generation, creating email campaigns, and utilizing our in-house CRM for managing prospects and client interactions.Note: This is a remote role, but it requires availability to work during North American business hours (9 AM - 6 PM ET / PT / CT) to ensure seamless communication with clients and team members.Key Responsibilities:Lead Generation & Cold Calling: Proactively generate new business opportunities through cold calling, networking, and leveraging an existing book of business (if applicable). Build and maintain a sales pipeline in the freight brokerage sector.Sales & Business Development: Identify opportunities and establish relationships with potential clients, with a focus on North American freight brokerage business lanes.Client Relationship Management: Build and maintain long-term client relationships, ensuring customer satisfaction and fostering continued business growth.CRM Data Management: Input, track, and update all prospect and client data into our in-house CRM system, ensuring accurate records and seamless communication.Email Campaigns & Outreach: Create and execute email campaigns to reach out to prospects, nurture leads, and keep in touch with current clients. Regularly follow up through email, phone calls, and other outreach strategies.Rate Negotiation & Contract Management: Work closely with carriers to negotiate competitive rates while ensuring service quality and profitability.
