This role requires a strong foundation in software testing methodologies and proficiency in data analysis using Google Sheets or Microsoft Excel. The ideal candidate will be instrumental in ensuring the quality and reliability of our applications across various platforms.Key ResponsibilitiesTest Planning & Execution: Develop, document, and execute comprehensive test plans and test cases for mobile and web applications.Defect Tracking: Identify, document, and track software defects using tools like JIRA or Bugzilla.Data Analysis: Utilize Google Sheets or MS Excel to analyze test results, track metrics, and generate reports to inform decision-making.Automation Support: Collaborate with the automation team to identify test cases suitable for automation and assist in script development.Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with developers, product managers, and other stakeholders to understand requirements and ensure comprehensive test coverage.Continuous Improvement: Contribute to the enhancement of QA processes and methodologies to improve efficiency and effectiveness. Required QualificationsEducational Background: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.Experience: More than 1 year of experience in software testing, with a focus on mobile and web applications.Testing Skills: Proficiency in manual testing techniques, including functional, regression, and exploratory testing.Analytical Tools: Advanced skills in Google Sheets or Microsoft Excel, including the use of formulas, pivot tables, and data visualization tools.Bug Tracking: Experience with defect tracking tools such as JIRA, Bugzilla, or similar.Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to articulate issues clearly and collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams. Preferred QualificationsAutomation Tools: Familiarity with automation testing tools like Selenium, Appium, or TestNG.Scripting Languages: Basic knowledge of scripting languages such as Python or JavaScript.Agile Methodologies: Experience working in Agile/Scrum development environments.Certifications: ISTQB Certification or equivalent is a plus.
