JOB CODE: CUSTOMER SERVICE & SALES ENGINEER LOCATION: MUMBAI JOB DESCRIPTION: SERVICE RESPONSIBILITIES : Installation and commissioning: Oversees the installation and commissioning of Ducom equipment at client sites, ensuring proper functioning and client satisfaction. Technical Support: Provide technical support to clients, optimum use & and correct operation of tribometers. Maintenance Services: Schedule and perform routine maintenance such as calibrations, recommend & and sell consumables and spares, AMC & and breakdown maintenance on Ducom equipment to ensure optimal performance and longevity. Training: Conduct training sessions for client staff on operating and maintaining Ducom equipment. AMC Services management: Conduct AMC service regularly with clients to provide ongoing support and maintenance services. Quality Assurance: Ensure adherence to quality standards in all service activities to uphold the company’s reputation for excellence. Documentation: Maintain accurate records of service activities, including service reports, spare inventory, and client communication. SALES RESPONSIBILITIES: Client Engagement: Build and maintain relationships with clients to understand and promote Ducom’s solutions effectively. Sales Strategy: Implement sales strategy to achieve sales targets and expand & and maintain market presence. Product Presentation: Conduct presentations and demonstrations of Ducom products to Potential clients, highlighting features and benefits. Quotation Preparation: Understand client needs, budget, and required timeline, Collect field intelligence and prepare accurate quotes. Negotiation: Negotiation terms and pricing with clients to secure profitable contracts while ensuring Customer satisfaction. Order Processing: Process sales orders efficiently and coordinate with the production team to meet delivery schedules. Market Analysis: Stay updated on market trends, competitor activities, and industry developments to identify new business opportunities. REQUIREMENTS: Education: Bachelor’s (B E), or Master's ( M. Tech ) degree in mechanical engineering, Electrical Engineering, Instrumentation, Mechatronics or related field. A diploma in a relevant field can be considered if they have field experience. Experience: Minimum 2 years of experience in services roles in instruments, test equipment & machine tool industry or similar. Technical skill: Strong technical knowledge of instrumentation or SPM machinery or machine tool industry or similar and experience in installation, troubleshooting, and maintenance. Communication Skills: Excellent communication skills and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with clients and internal teams. Sales acumen: Sales skills with the ability to negotiate and close deals effectively. Team player Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to achieve sales and service objectives. Flexibility: Willingness to travel frequently to client sites for meetings, installations, and service visits.
