It allows security teams to become enablers for engineering and business teams to move faster as they adopt new cloud and SaaS tooling. The product is heavily driven by data analytics as well as AI/ML. The core idea is to analyze events & logs from enterprise identity systems & networks to enable the use cases we are trying to solve in the area of identity & access security. Position Overview As a Senior Technical Product Manager, you will act as the bridge between the technical teams and business goals, ensuring that the product service and product meet market/customer/user needs and align with company objectives by combining technical expertise with product management skills. This role is critical in ensuring high-quality and timely delivery of our client's SaaS product and identity security offerings. You will serve as a tactical product lead, collaborating with cross-functional teams, while driving execution excellence and product innovation. The ideal candidate will have proven experience with Enterprise and/or SaaS products, especially in cybersecurity, networking, or identity domains. Responsibilities Product Strategy & Roadmap: Contribute to defining the product strategy and roadmap, ensuring technical feasibility and alignment with business goals. Technical Expertise: Possess a strong understanding of technology and how it impacts product development, design, and implementation. Requirements & Definition: Own the product requirements and translating them to Engineering. Work closely with the leadership, field, engineering, design, and other teams to understand and define requirements, ensuring they are articulated and aligned with user needs. Detail the product requirements and document them for and during Engineering execution. Technical Risks: Identify and assess technical risks and challenges throughout the product lifecycle, proactively mitigating potential issues. Collaboration & Communication: Facilitate effective communication and collaboration between technical teams, product teams, and other stakeholders. Product Lifecycle: Collaborate in the product development process from ideation to launch and beyond, ensuring that the product is technically sound, high-quality, and secure. Quality: Develop and implement procedures and establish standards for product success, ensuring that the product meets quality requirements. Data Analysis: Analyze data to understand user behavior, identify areas for improvement, and measure the success of product features and releases. Market Research: Stay up-to-date with market trends, competitor products, and user feedback to inform product decisions. Stay informed about industry trends and emerging technologies, ensuring infrastructure and processes remain cutting-edge and competitive. Prioritization: Prioritize features and initiatives based on business value and technical feasibility. Documentation: Ensure that proper product documentation is created and maintained. Requirements Experience : 10+ years in technical product management with a background in product/system/solution architecture, technical leadership, or software development. Enterprise and/or SaaS experience preferred. Expertise : Deep product/solution-level understanding of clouds (AWS, Azure, etc), networking, and identity systems (e.g. IAM, PAM). Understanding of user/market research methods, user experience (UX), business principles, product management strategies, and customer behavior. Process-oriented: Experience in project/program management and/or tracking of engineering requirements and execution. Domain Focus : A background in cybersecurity, networking, cloud, or identity would be preferred. Tools : Proficiency in using product management tools such as JIRA, Confluence, Aha, and Trello to help manage product backlogs, track progress, and facilitate effective collaboration. Communication Skills : Exceptional ability to convey complex technical information to diverse audiences and influence decision-making. Day-to-day : Enable the technical teams to understand product/business goals and the features being built. Actively participate in new product releases by designing, calculating, and assessing the implications of major new capabilities. Understanding of software development methodologies (e.g. Agile, Kanban), enabling smooth execution of projects, and addressing challenges in real-time. Education : Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field; Master’s degree preferred. Additional certifications would be good to have.
