Objective:Supporting the Restaurant manager in daily operations, with a focus on staff management, customer service, and ensuring smooth operations. This includes tasks like scheduling staff, training new employees, resolving customer issues, and maintaining inventory.Duties & Responsibilities:- Assist Restaurant Manager for day to day operations.- Hire, train and mentor new staff members- Schedule shifts and assign table sections to waitstaff- Resolve customer questions and complaints professionally- Coordinate communication between front of the house and back of the house staff- Keep detailed records of daily, weekly and monthly costs and revenues.- Arrange for new employees’ proper onboarding, schedule trainings, regular briefing.- Ensure the restaurant follows health and safety regulations- Source better deals on resources and equipment as needed- Record all income and expenses, make sure cash registers are balanced at the end of every shift.- Gather guests’ feedback and recommend improvements to our menusRequirements and skills:- Work experience as a Restaurant Assistant Manager or similar role in the hospitality industry- Familiarity with restaurant management software, like IDS with POS integrated- Good math and reporting skills- Customer service attitude- Communication and team management abilities- Availability to work within opening hours (e.g. evenings, holidays, weekends)- High school diploma; additional certification in hospitality is a plus
