Position Title: Principal - Special Education Location: Motinagar, Hyderabad Institution: SRISAISEVASADAN's Child Therapy Center & Special School for I.D./M.R. We are committed to nurturing children with developmental, behavioral, emotional, and physical challenges. Our integrated approach combines: Special Education Occupational Therapy Speech Therapy Psychological Services Life Skills Training All under one roof, providing holistic care and education. Position Overview The Principal / Academic Incharge serves as the academic head of the institution, leading a multidisciplinary team of educators, therapists, and support staff. The role includes managing: Academic curriculum Therapeutic interventions Student development Parent and community engagement A strong focus on Individualized Education Plans (IEPs) and inclusive practices is essential. Key Responsibilities 1. Leadership & Strategy Develop and implement a strategic vision aligned with the institution’s mission. Foster an inclusive and collaborative environment. Lead curriculum design tailored to students with special needs. 2. Academic & Therapeutic Coordination Supervise special educators and therapy teams (speech, occupational, behavioral). Oversee development and execution of IEPs. Monitor and enhance student progress. 3. Staff Management & Development Recruit, train, and evaluate staff. Encourage continuous professional development and interdisciplinary collaboration. 4. Parent & Community Engagement Build strong relationships with parents and guardians. Organize family workshops and regular review meetings. Engage with NGOs and educational authorities for partnerships and outreach. 5. Compliance & Reporting Ensure adherence to educational and safety regulations. Maintain records on student progress, therapy, and staff performance.
