Job profile summaryWe are looking for a skilled and experienced Microsoft 365 & Azure Infrastructure /Platform Specialist to join our IT Infrastructure team. This role will focus on managing, securing, and optimizing our hybrid cloud platform — including Microsoft 365, Azure, identity and access systems, endpoint management, and related enterprise technologies. Following the decommissioning of legacy data centers, we’re focused on scalable, secure cloud services, zero trust networking, and a fully SaaS-based application landscape. As a Platform Specialist, you’ll play a key role in supporting digital transformation and ensuring the performance, availability, and security of business-critical systems.Should have 4 to 7 yrs of solid experience with full project lifecycle, including requirements gathering, design, development, testing, and deployment. Should be willing to work as a direct reportee to client in UK time-zoneEducational QualificationBachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science/ Computer Engineering. Essential skill set required:Excellent technical and functional knowledge and profound experience in· Management of Hybrid Exchange: This includes the management of mailboxes, groups, Exchange services such as certificate renewal and SMTP relay, Exchange (on-prem and online) configurations, and Exchange (on-prem and online) security (including zero-day patches). · End-to-end Active Directory Management: This includes GPO configuration and management, groups/OUs, DNS, DHCP configuration and management, and security configuration and management. · End-to-end Azure Active Directory Management: This includes configuring and managing AAD Connect servers and services, Azure AD objects, licensing, security (Azure AD PIM, conditional access, MFA configuration, SSPR, etc.), Azure AD app proxy configuration and apps, app registrations, enterprise applications, and troubleshooting audit logs where required. · End-to-end Intune Management: This includes policy creation and management, application creation and management, security configuration and management, Intune RBAC configuration and management, and auditing changes when required. · End-to-end Management of On-Prem PKI Services: This includes managing Digicert certificate services. · Microsoft 365 Defender Management: This includes Office 365 security configuration and management, endpoint security configuration and management, alerts and incidents investigation, Defender RBAC configuration and management, Defender for Cloud Apps configuration and management, threat monitoring/remediation, audit/report generation, and insider risk management configuration. · Microsoft 365 Spam/Phishing Email Purge: This includes eDiscovery management, retention policy configuration and management. · General VPN Management: This includes managing SSL certificates, and having a good understanding of DNS, DHCP, and name resolution. SSL VPN configuration (profiles, security posture, etc.) and Fortinet knowledge would be advantageous. · Proficiency in PowerShell Scripting: This is required for automating tasks. Role Requirements • Ability to work independently, as well as part of a team. • Prioritize, plan and Manage multitasking with simultaneous multiple projects• Implement and manage monitoring and alerting systems (e.g., Microsoft Sentinel, Azure Monitor, SCOM).• Contribute to disaster recovery and business continuity planning and testing.• Maintain comprehensive technical documentation, diagrams, and SOPs.• Contribute to internal knowledge base for support teams and end-users.• Act as an escalation point for complex platform and infrastructure issues.• Communicate technical issues and solutions clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences.• Liaise with third-party vendors, Microsoft support, and service providers for escalation or technical resolution.• Assist with license assignment, monitoring, and optimization (e.g., M365, Azure AD P1/P2, Defender E5).• Strong experience managing Hybrid Exchange environments, Microsoft365 admin centres.• Advanced knowledge of Active Directory, Azure AD (Entra ID), including group policies, trusts, and conditional access.• Experience with Microsoft Intune for device management and security enforcement.• Proficiency with PowerShell scripting and automation of Microsoft cloud services.• Hands-on experience with Microsoft Defender E5 tools for identity, endpoint, and cloud app protection.• Experience in PKI and certificate lifecycle management (e.g., DigiCert, internal CA).• Experience with ITIL-aligned service management (incidents, problems, and changes).• Excellent planning, documentation, and troubleshooting skills.• Familiarity with Fortinet firewalls and VPNs; basic understanding of layer 3 networking. • Exposure to SaaS-first application deployments and identity-based access management.• Understanding of Microsoft Sentinel, Azure Monitor, or similar monitoring/logging tools.• Experience with ServiceNow or other ITSM platforms.• Knowledge of licensing management (Microsoft CSP, M365 usage reporting, etc.).• Champion equality, diversity, and inclusion across the organisation.• Maintain confidentiality and uphold information governance policies.• Comply with all health and safety requirements.• Engage with personal development, training, and continuous improvement initiatives.• Contribute to a positive, team-oriented ICT culture aligned with organisational values.Benefits :1. 100% Remote Work2.
