About the RoleWe’re seeking a seasoned DevOps Engineer with deep expertise in AWS to help architect, automate, and operate our cloud infrastructure. You’ll collaborate closely with development teams to streamline CI/CD pipelines, optimize our AWS environment for performance and cost, and ensure high availability and security of our services. Exposure to Windows Server administration is a strong plus.Key ResponsibilitiesAWS Infrastructure Design & ManagementArchitect, deploy, and manage scalable, secure, highly available AWS environments across multiple accounts and regions.Implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using tools like Terraform or CloudFormation.CI/CD Pipeline DevelopmentDesign, build, and maintain continuous integration and deployment pipelines (e.g., AWS CodePipeline, Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD).Automate build, test, and release processes to accelerate delivery velocity.Configuration Management & AutomationDevelop and maintain configuration management scripts with Ansible, Chef, or Puppet.Use scripting languages (Python, Bash, PowerShell) to automate routine tasks and operational workflows.Monitoring, Logging & AlertingImplement and manage monitoring and logging solutions (CloudWatch, ELK/EFK stacks, Prometheus/Grafana).Define meaningful metrics, dashboards, and alerting thresholds to proactively identify and resolve issues.Security & ComplianceApply AWS security best practices (IAM policies, VPC design, encryption at rest/in transit).Ensure compliance with industry standards and internal security guidelines.Cost OptimizationAnalyze AWS usage and implement cost‐saving measures (reserved instances, rightsizing, autoscaling).Provide reports and recommendations to stakeholders on spending trends.Support & TroubleshootingServe as primary escalation point for production issues; perform root‐cause analysis and post‐mortems.Collaborate with cross‐functional teams to resolve complex infrastructure and application problems.Windows Administration (Plus)Assist in the administration of Windows Server environments, Active Directory, and related services when required.Required QualificationsExperience: 5–7 years in DevOps or SRE roles with a strong AWS focus.AWS Services: Deep hands-on with EC2, S3, RDS, Lambda, VPC, IAM, CloudWatch, and related services.IaC Tools: Expertise in Terraform or AWS CloudFormation.CI/CD: Proven track record building pipelines with AWS CodePipeline, Jenkins, GitLab CI, or equivalent.Scripting: Proficiency in at least one scripting language (Python, Bash, or PowerShell).Configuration Management: Experience with Ansible, Chef, or Puppet.Monitoring & Logging: Familiarity with CloudWatch, ELK/EFK, Prometheus, Grafana, or similar.Security: Strong understanding of cloud security principles, network security, and compliance frameworks.Containers (optional but preferred): Docker, ECS, EKS, or Kubernetes.Version Control: Git and Git workflows.Soft Skills: Excellent problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills.Nice-to-HaveWindows Server Administration: Experience managing Windows Server, Active Directory, PowerShell scripting, patch management.Database Management: Basic familiarity with RDS engines (MySQL, PostgreSQL, SQL Server).Serverless Architectures: Hands-on with AWS Lambda, API Gateway, Step Functions.Networking: Advanced knowledge of VPNs, Transit Gateway, Direct Connect.What We OfferCompetitive salary and benefits packageFlexible work hours and remote work optionsOpportunities for professional growth and AWS certification supportCollaborative, inclusive team culture
