Role Description The CLM Lead drives growth, engagement, and loyalty across our holiday planning platform. This role leads customer lifecycle marketing and digital campaigns, ensuring travellers receive timely, relevant and personalized messaging, right from discovery to travel completion. Beyond this, the ideal candidate should work aggressively on building a loyal tribe of travellers who book with us repeatedly. This role balances creativity with data, requires a deep understanding of the travel purchase journey, and should be able to work cross-functionally to build campaigns that move both hearts and numbers. Key Responsibilities Customer Lifecycle Marketing (CLM) Map and manage the end-to-end holiday booking funnel—from discovery to repeat trips. Design multi-step campaigns triggered by key lifecycle events (inquiry, planning, booking, return). Tailor messaging based on traveller profiles, destination trends, and seasonal preferences. Build repeat behaviour through re-engagement, upsell, referral, and loyalty nudges. Build an internal demand forecasting tool to be able to smartly predict travel trends of our larger target audience, and behaviours and preferences of our segments (affluence-based, geo-based, demography-based etc.) Assess Marketing automation tools which can be onboarded to fulfil our CLM requirements Personalization and Segmentation Use booking data, inquiry patterns, and destination interest to create sharp user segments. Deliver contextual, relevant messaging to inspire conversion—from weekend getaways to international trips. Track lead drop-offs and retarget warm leads with curated follow-ups. Campaign Execution Across Channels Own the execution of digital campaigns across website, mobile, email, WhatsApp, SMS, and push notifications. Localize content and offers based on user behaviour, geography, and preferred travel style (family, honeymoon, adventure, etc.). Performance Analysis and Growth Optimization Monitor campaign performance via dashboards, reports, and funnel conversion metrics. Optimize campaigns based on lead-to-booking conversion, repeat rates, customer acquisition cost, and revenue contribution. Use A/B testing to refine creative formats, subject lines, and travel offers. Cross-Team Collaboration Partner with category managers, Sales team, Content and creative teams, product and tech teams to align messaging and timelines. Work with UI/UX and data teams to improve lead capture, booking flows, and personalization engines. Channel Innovation and Exploration Test and scale new communication channels such as Instagram DM automation, interactive content, or in-app nudges. Stay on top of industry AI innovations like AI chat for travel planning, voice search usage, or virtual destination previews. Additional Responsibilities Ensure every campaign meets content quality, data compliance, and brand voice standards. Maintain a centralized calendar for seasonal, destination-led, and thematic campaigns. Contribute to Holidaytribe’s brand storytelling through user journeys and testimonial campaigns. Minimum Qualifications Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in marketing, communications, travel management, or related field. 5+ years of experience in digital or lifecycle marketing, preferably in a travel or tech-first business. Proven experience in campaign setup, marketing automation tools, and performance tracking. Strong understanding of travel customer behavior and conversion triggers. Ability to balance storytelling with data-driven execution. Preferred Qualifications Prior experience in a holiday planning or OTA environment (Online Travel Agency). Familiarity with tools like WebEngage, MoEngage, Clevertap, or HubSpot for multi-channel execution. Understanding of travel seasonality and regional user nuances in India. Experience managing communication at different stages—exploration, booking, pre-departure, and post-trip. Soft Skills Detail-oriented with strong ownership mindset.
