Our enterprise platform enables rapid deployment of complex AI agent workflows that continuously learn and evolve, delivering high ROI for clients in the pharmaceutical sector12.Position SummaryThe Sr Manager, Biopharma Agentic AI Forecasting will lead the development and deployment of advanced, agentic AI-driven forecasting models for A79.ai’s biopharma and life sciences clients. This role combines deep expertise in pharmaceutical forecasting with hands-on leadership in agentic AI, driving transformation in commercial analytics and supporting data-driven business decisions. The Sr Manager will collaborate with internal teams and clients to deliver robust, actionable, and innovative forecasting solutions that leverage the latest in AI automation and predictive analytics.Key ResponsibilitiesLead the design, development, and deployment of agentic AI-powered forecasting models for biopharma products, integrating historical data, market dynamics, and advanced analytics to support commercial strategy and long-range planning.Responsible for supporting global forecasting efforts by working with commercial leadership (US, Canada and EU), brand/franchise leads, patient services and finance to develop multi-year monthly patient, unit, and revenue forecasts for products within the neuroscience or rare disease franchise, by leveraging historical product performance trends, the primary/secondary market insights, and soliciting team inputsA strong understanding of forecasting methodologies (including EPI and historical trend approaches) and quantitative techniques is needed to produce accurate product launch and in-line forecasts for the organization Partner with client and internal teams to deliver multi-year, monthly patient, unit, and revenue forecasts, ensuring alignment with business objectives.Identify, evaluate, and implement novel AI methodologies—including agentic automation and real-time analytics—to continuously advance forecasting accuracy, scalability, and business impact.Serve as the principal advisor and subject matter expert on agentic AI forecasting, providing guidance to internal stakeholders and clients.Oversee the integration of external and internal agentic AI platforms into forecasting workflows, ensuring seamless data flow, model validation, and actionable insights delivery.Present and defend forecasting approaches, methodologies, and outputs to executive leadership and clients, explaining AI-driven insights and recommendations in clear, business-relevant terms.Monitor and report on forecast accuracy, quantify the impact of assumption variances, and proactively recommend corrective actions as needed.Build and maintain a robust library of forecasting assumptions and data sources, leveraging both traditional and AI-augmented analytics.Ensure all forecasting activities comply with financial, ethical, and data privacy standards.Mentor and develop junior team members, fostering a culture of innovation, learning, and operational excellence.QualificationsBachelor’s degree in business, finance, data science, engineering, or a related field; MS/MBA or advanced degree preferred.3+ years of experience in commercial analytics, forecasting, or sales operations within the biopharma or life sciences sector, with at least 3 years in a managerial or lead role.Demonstrated experience designing, building, and maintaining advanced forecasting models using both traditional statistical methods and AI/ML techniques.Hands-on expertise with agentic AI platforms, automation tools, and real-time analytics solutions.Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including VBA for automation and complex modeling.Excellent analytical reasoning, financial acumen, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate complex AI-driven insights into actionable business recommendations.Proven ability to work cross-functionally, communicate effectively across all levels of management, and influence decision-making in a matrixed environment.High energy, detail-oriented, self-motivated, and committed to customer service and execution excellence.
