About the JobWe are looking for a hybrid DevOps & QA Automation Engineer to own the integrity, scalability, and reliability of both our infrastructure and our automated testing framework. You will ensure that our deployments are fast, secure, and compliant, and that our financial applications meet the highest standards of quality and performance.As the successful candidate, you will be expected to bring significant hands-on experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP), leveraging its full suite of services to build and maintain a secure, scalable, and compliant infrastructure for our financial products.Core ResponsibilitiesDevOps Responsibilities:Manage and scale Kubernetes environments on Google Kubernetes Engine (GKE)Architect and maintain GCP-native infrastructure using Terraform, Helm, and GCP-specific modulesAutomate CI/CD pipelines using GitLab CI/CD, integrating seamlessly with GCP servicesImplement robust monitoring, alerting, and logging via Prometheus, Grafana, ELK/EFK, and GCP LoggingEnforce security best practices, including IAM policies, GCP Secret Manager, firewall configurations, and TLS/mTLSDesign and execute backup and disaster recovery strategies using Velero and GCP-native snapshot toolsManage GCP DNS, ingress via NGINX, and certificate lifecycle using cert-manager on GCPQA Automation ResponsibilitiesDesign, develop, and maintain automated test scripts for web, mobile, and backend systemsIntegrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelinesConduct REST API testing (e.g., Postman, Rest Assured)Perform regression testing and participate in code/test plan reviewsTrack and log defects; support resolution with developersEnsure compliance with security and regulatory standards in testingYou Will Be a Good Fit If You:Are aligned with our values: Belief, Accountability & Ownership, Positivity, Execution, SpeedHave 5+ years of experience in DevOps, QA, or both, ideally within fintech or bankingAre proficient in CI/CD tools, automated testing frameworks (Selenium, Playwright, Cypress)Have experience in Java and scripting (Bash, Python, Go)Have a strong grasp of Kubernetes, GCP, Terraform, and secure infrastructure designHave worked in regulated environments and understand compliance and data securityHave deep expertise in GCP services, architecture, and security best practicesHave managed production workloads using GKE, Cloud Logging, GCP Secret Manager, IAM, and other GCP toolsAre confident working in a GCP-first DevOps environment, optimizing both cost and performance across its service offerings
