Team members are empowered to learn new skills, communicate openly, and be active problem-solvers.What You Will Do: We’re looking for a Senior Data Engineer for the CT Commerce domain data team. This team owns platform order processing and other e-commerce checkout essential components on the MCP platform. You will work in a cross-functional team with other analytics engineers, data engineers, and product owners to develop scalable data products.We use a cutting-edge technology stack, including—but not limited to—Snowflake, DBT, AWS services, and Apache Airflow. We work with diverse data sources, including data from various e-commerce platform products.Future opportunities arise and continue to evolve, as our company culture embraces new ideas and approaches. The core focus of this role is consolidating data from disparate systems into a single data warehouse, making data accessible in BI tools like Looker, and constructing automated processes to extract insights and propagate them to other systems.Responsibilities: Design, develop, and maintain scalable and reliable data pipelines for the Commerce platform.Lead the discovery, planning, and execution of data migrations, ensuring data integrity and functional parity between systems.Develop and publish high-value data products, ensuring adherence to standards for observability, testability, usability, and multi-tenancy.Collaborate with business teams to define and implement product analytics tracking, including behavioral and transactional insights.Contribute to the design and implementation of an optimized Commerce data architecture with an emphasis on reuse, cost-optimization, and compliance.Ensure compliance with relevant data regulations and internal security policies, identifying gaps and implementing necessary technical controls.Participate in business consulting, developing onboarding materials and guiding business units on leveraging Commerce Data Products.Your Qualifications: Overall ~6 years experienceCoding mastery in at least one modern programming language: Python (preferred), Scala etc.Strong skills in SQL, Spark, DBT and AirflowStrong knowledge in production standards such as versioning, CI/CD, data quality, documentation, automation, etc.Proficiency with cloud services in AWS (Preferred), Azure or GoogleExperience with API’s and microservices development and consumptionSkilled in data modeling and system designExperience handling large volume data as well as both structured/unstructured data of various qualityProblem solving and multi-tasking ability in a fast-paced, globally distributed environmentNice to Have: Experience with Gen AIRelevant work in agile environmentExperience with NoSql databases and Hadoop ecosystemFamiliarity with API’s/microservices (REST)Working experience with TerraformStatistics experience is a plusWhy You'll Love Working Here: Being at Cimpress means you don’t see work as just a building, a desk, or a manufacturing floor.
