As aCloud and Devops enginee r joining the team, you will be required to set up and maintain existing app environments, configure and deploy new apps and releases to Windows and Linux based servers, troubleshoot app issues within SLAs, and liaise with the customer.You are required to have worked in the field forat least two yearsand should possess the following skillset and experience to be successful in this role: Coding in any popular backend programming language. e.g., C# (preferred as we’re .Net orientated), Python, PHP and/or Java. (Essential) Using Windows servers, including configuring as web servers. (Essential) IIS administration. (Essential) Using Linux servers. (Essential) Interacting with MS SQL and MySQL databases. (Essential) Coding in SQL. (Essential) Using Octopus Deploy for configuring app environments (DEV, UAT, LIVE) and deploying new releases. (Desirable) Coding in PowerShell. (Desirable) Using RabbitMQ. (Desirable) Diagnose and troubleshoot technical issues, including account setup, app releases, app functionality and identifying network issues that could be causing app downtime. (Essential) Basic understanding of load balancers. (Essential) Working knowledge cloud services. Preferred cloud knowledge in Azure and OCI. (Essential) ·Manage, monitor, and maintain OCI and Azure cloud infrastructure. (Essential) ·Configure and deploy compute, storage, networking, and identity services in OCI and Azure. (Essential) ·Assist in designing and implementing scalable, secure, and highly available cloud solutions. (Essential) ·Implementing Azure Devops build and release pipelines and Git repos. (Desirable) Working with databases in cluster (for high availability) and working with large amounts of data. (Desirable) Have the technical skill to review, verify, and validate application configs. (Essential) Have good communication skills to understand and liaise with the customer to ask targeted questions and provide resolutions. (Essential) Good communication skills to escalate and detail unresolved issues to appropriate internal teams (e.g., developers or networks). (Essential) Service Now/Jira ticket system for monitoring and managing tickets (Desirable). Work overtime(paid)when required in evenings and/or weekends depending on customer requirements. (Essential)Good to have: OCI and/or Azure certifications (e.g., Oracle Cloud Infrastructure Foundations, Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator Associate).
