The ideal candidate will have strong creative skills and a portfolio of work which demonstrates their passion for illustrative design and typography. This candidate will have experiences in working with numerous different design platforms such as digital and print forms.We’re offering a fully-remote, six-month unpaid internship for a design enthusiast who wants to shape delightful digital experiences and build a cohesive brand identity—while working from anywhere. You’ll collaborate daily with product and marketing teams, ship work that reaches real users, and walk away with a portfolio that proves it. Exceptional interns may be considered for future paid openings. ResponsibilitiesCollaborate with the team to ensure consistency of designs across various media outletsCreate compelling and effective logos, designs, print and digital mediaMaintain awareness of current industry and technology standards, social media, competitive landscape and market trendsQualificationsPursuing or recently completed a bachelor’s (or equivalent) in Graphic/Interaction Design, Visual Communication, or related field.Portfolio demonstrating illustrative design, typography, and digital product work (academic or personal projects welcome).Proficiency with either open-source design tools such as Penpot, Inkscape, GIMP, Krita, Blender, or Scribus or with proprietary suites (Adobe CC, Figma).Solid grasp of color theory, layout, accessibility, and responsive design basics.Clear written and verbal English communication; self-motivated and eager to learn.What You’ll Gain  Mentorship from team and product managers.  Real-world experience shipping assets into production and seeing your work live.  Expanded portfolio with measurable impact and clear attribution.  Cross-functional networking with design, engineering, and marketing teams.Logistics  Compensation: Unpaid  Duration: 6 months  Hours: ~20 hours/week  Location: 100 % remote; reliable high-speed internet required.  Equipment: Bring your own laptopEqual Opportunity StatementWe celebrate diversity and are an equal opportunity employer.
