Job Title: Sr. Business Development Associate / Student CounsellingLocation: Bangalore (India)Reports To: Sr. ManagerAbout the RoleWe’re looking for a driven, passionate, and hands-on Business Development Associate who thrives in a fast-paced, startup environment. This role is ideal for someone who is excited about building systems from the ground up and doesn’t shy away from rolling up their sleeves to drive results. You’ll own the entire sales funnel—from the first touchpoint to conversion—while contributing to strategy, growth experiments, and the overall GTM efforts.ResponsibilitiesOwn end-to-end sales for high-ticket international education programs.Handle inbound and outbound leads and drive daily conversations to convert interest into enrolments.Run personalized counselling sessions with students and parents to understand their aspirations and position the right program fit.Work closely with internal stakeholders (marketing, operations, product) to optimize lead nurturing and drive better ROI.Drive revenue targets aggressively weekly, monthly, quarterly.Identify gaps in the sales funnel and continuously propose ways to improve processes.Build strong relationships with prospects and develop trust and credibility with them over time.Be open to taking on anything that drives the mission—whether it’s on-ground events, webinars, or partnerships.Qualifications2+ years of sales or business development experience in EdTech, Study Abroad, or Higher Education.Proven track record of hitting or exceeding sales targets, especially in consultative or high involvement selling.Excellent communication skills (verbal and written) and fluency in English.Hustle mindset—you’re resourceful, proactive, and get things done.Passion for global education and a student-first approach.Comfortable working with CRM tools (Hubspot preferred).A go-getter who enjoys startup chaos and is excited about building from scratch.Required SkillsStudent-centered approach and empathetic advising.Expertise in international admissions processes.Excellent writing and communication skills.Time management and organizational skills.Integrity, discretion, and professionalism.
