We are revolutionising the way home furniture is sold by being design-focused and pioneering themes most suited to the modern-day customers.The designer’s job as such is the key role in our organization.There is a distinct sensibility and aesthetic understanding that defines who we are, and while the words modern/contemporary/Scandinavian are used when explaining what we do to lay-people, it is important for a designer to understand the specifics. If you are looking to work with us, let us know if you think you can do the following or align with the below: 1. Colour: Can see and understand colours in a diffused sense.Exercise: Please help us understand what you think of this, with visual references or pantone references. 2. Aesthetic: We like a toned-down Scandinavian aesthetic.Exercise: Please provide enough references of what this means to you. 3. Light: Sunlight changes mood.Exercise: Show us the best possible intensity, angle of sunlight in a room on a product (in a combination of ochre/walnut and light grey). You must also design this product using design tools/software for this test. 4. Tools: You must be very skilled at the tools you use. Be it Rhino, Keyshot, Illustrator, other 3-d modelling, rendering tools and have used enough generative AI tools and AI assisted tools to understand how they work in combination with existing tools and skills. 5. Work-Life Balance: For the core functions Design and Production, Crafts Mill doesn’t have structured weekly schedules. That doesn’t mean everyone works every day of the week. But it does mean that we can’t have a determined work week schedule, and people in core functions must be able to able to work as the project or the work requires over week and weekends.
